Highest Gross Output Pulse Crop 2007

The British Edible Pulse Association is seeking the highest performing crop of pulses from the 2007 harvest. Measurement will be by yield and net market value ex farm at the point of sale, with any storage increments included if represented within the price achieved.
Net market value is market price less any deductions for quality, does not include 'capped load' charges and does not include protein subsidy per hectare.
Only tonnage actually 'sold' can be included in yield figures.
Closing date for completed applications will be May 31st 2008 with the £1000 prize for the highest gross output being awarded at Cereals 2008.
Payment notes plus weighbridge weights will be required as confirmation of gross output for the ten highest values submitted.
It is a condition of taking part that candidates crop results, location and crop management details can be used in subsequent promotional material and / or advertising.

[2] Alternatively you may wish to apply by post to BEPA c/o Belvoir House, Wisbech. Cambs. PE14 9TG. It is the applicant's responsibility to make sure the information is received by BEPA.

[3] A third option would be to contact your pulse crop buyer and request your details be forwarded to BEPA.

NB. If the crop buyer is not a BEPA member then they will gain no marketing exposure as part of this competition. - they may be invited to become a member to gain that exposure.
