DALMARK GRAIN LTD

Dalmark Grain was founded in 1976 and is a subsidiary of JE & VM Dalton, a large independent seed company based at Eye, near Peterborough. Its main activity is purchasing combinable crops from farms in Eastern England and selling to a large number of customers in the UK and abroad.

In order to meet the stringent demands of customers and to facilitate exports, the Company operates two grain stores, each capable of storing 12,000 tonnes. The Company has also gained an enviable reputation as a trader of pulses and industrial oilseeds to specific niche markets.

Dalton Seeds, Dalmark Grains sister company, is now one of the leading marketeers of pea varieties in the UK, pioneering a range of new marrowfat pea varieties that not only yield well but have excellent standing ability and disease resistance. Working together the two companies can offer Buy Back contracts, not only for peas and beans, but a range of milling wheat, malting barley and oilseeds, providing guaranteed premium outlets to their growers.
